Welcome to our first hike...to Lover's Leap. It was a tall foot hill of the mountains.
This is me eating lunch in the woods.
We are so high! I am on Sarah's shoulders. Johanna is in the kid backpack. This is a big hill of quartz.
This is Lover's Leap. The story is that 2 Native Americans came to this peak and jumped off it so they could be together forever. Can you see mom and me?
After we got to the top of the peak I was really tired. I took a cat nap on mom's shoulders.
At the bottom of the hill we had to walk through the creek 5 times to get back home. We had to walk across rocks. This is Johanna walking across rocks.
I walked across the creek with Sarah. Finally I got to try out the Kid backpack.

what a great trip! I hope Rey remembers it a long time. glad you have photos of him. It's a wonderful place to go.
