Christmas Day

Santa brought me a bike. My feet almost reach the pedals. I love it!!

After opening presents we went outside. It was super warm outside.

Lolo did not have any sleds, but he did find a large salad bowl for me to slide with. It was fast!

Christmas Eve at the Siasoco's

This is Tita Yanni playing dad's famous rubber band game. She looks so funny.

We also hit the pinata to get all the candy out. This is Lola Sue turning Tori around.

This is at the gift exchange. We traded a Sumo Wrestling game for the purple scarf. It is so soft...I love it!

Paper Mache

This is my Tito Anthony, Tita Yanni, and Tito (really Lolo) Ricco making Santa Claus "Ho Ho Ho".

The next day Ricco, Yanni, and I painted Santa. I took all my clothes off so I would not get paint on my clothes. (I have such a smart mommy.)

Well, this is our Santa...all finished...this is a Filipino Santa.

Tonight we went to Mary's house to see Santa. This is her tree. We sat right next to Santa's chair so we would not miss him.

After Santa arrived I sat with the other kids and waited for my turn. Brandon is sitting near me with the gray and black shirt. He is Sara's son- daycare.


Finally...my turn. I got a stocking with chocolate in it.

We also took a family photo with Santa.

Friday Night

Tonight mom and I went up to her school to do fun stuff. First we went to the Hmong New Year celebration. This is Amend and Ly. They were in mom's class last year. We saw dances and then we ate Hmong food...yummy.

Then we went over to the basketball game. The girls were playing tonight. I loved watching the game and cheering with the cheerleaders and the crowd.

Some of mom's students were at the game. The one in the middle is Abdillahi. He wanted to take a picture, but the game was still going.

Jewelry Party and Christmas Party

Tonight mom and I went to our friend Kristin's house to her trunk show (art show where she can sell her jewelry). Mom and Kristin went to Iowa State together. Her jewelry is pretty. It has flowers and lots of colors.

Rich (Kristin's boyfriend) and a friend of his also played music. I danced.

Mom went to her friends house yesterday and made a gingerbread house. I love it! In this photo I am playing with Santa. Earlier I was playing with Lala, but she kept getting stuck inside the house. I told mom that next year she needs to leave part of the house open so I can have Lala (grandma) play in it better.

After a rough Friday, I am feeling a lot better!

Short Hospital Visit

My cough turned into a relatively short hospital visit (3 hours). Here's the hospital tag to prove it. No need to worry, mom and dad just have to give me the proper treatments to get me back up to speed. Needless to say, we'll be laying low this weekend.

Sick Day

I have had a pretty nasty cough, so Dad took the day off to try to make me feel better.

MakeReady

Here's some video of our friends Craig, Jamie, and Kristi playing at the No Coast Craft-O-Rama at the Midtown Global Market. We had really great time window shopping, listening to music, and eating!

I know you are all waiting for photos from my party...well the snow came again and we canceled. So instead I went into the weekend archives. This is a photo of mom and I at the art and craft show at the Midtown Market. There will be a video added on also...we are just waiting for it to be uploaded.

Cupcakes and Cocoa

Mom and I made cupcakes for the party we are having on Tuesday. All my "baby" friends are coming over to celebrate our 2nd birthday. Mom even bought special candles. (We will post photos of our party later.)

While we waited for them to cook, we went outside to play in the snow.

When we came inside we had hot chocolate and cupcakes. Of course we had to taste test them before the party. Was my first name really Coco? That is what mom and dad said. They are so silly. Can someone tell dad it is my cupcake and cocoa and he already ate his.

It snowed here! Yippee!

Check out the snow pile mom and dad shoveled. We got almost 4 inches! We were outside before 9 a.m. this morning.

Is my baby still sleeping?

This is my baby I got for Christmas from grandma. I feel asleep before the baby. This happens with dad sometimes too!

Hollidazzle Parade and Macy's Storytime

This is mom's friend Emily who went out with us last night. We had hot chocolate together....yummy! After we had hot cocoa we went to the Macy's storybook display. It was the Nutcracker. (Sorry Uncle Chris, no photos, mom forgot to charge the camera.)


This is a blurry photo of one of the floats I saw. I also saw Santa on his sleigh, a nutcracker, a pirate ship, light bulbs, a choo choo train with giraffes, and a bunch of other lighted floats. It was really neat.
