Santa was here!

I saw Santa tonight.  Mom, dad, and I went to Macy's downtown.  We saw their holiday display about "A day in the life of an Elf".  Rudolph was in the stable.  He was kicking the door.  I told Santa that I wanted books and that he would get my letter with the rest of my list.

Happy Halloween!

For Halloween we went to Johanna's house to Trick or Treat. I was a superhero robot and she was a cowgirl.

Our first house was Jojo's neighborhor. We ran the doorbell and when they answered we said "Trick or Treat" and they gave us candy!

When we were done trick or treating we went back to Jo's house got our PJ's on and ate a lot of candy. Then we jumped on our dads and tied them up with Johanna's lasso. Our last treat of the night were new toothbrushes.

Halloween Party with the Baby Group

Leo the tiger, Rey the wonderpet robot, Evan the monster, and Abby the witch.....unbelievable how big they are. I (mom) do not have the heart to give them another name as I have known all of them since they were 4 weeks old. These are the same babies from the hospital group.

Rey made Halloween pie (pumpkin pie) for the party. He even read the book to his friends!

Pumpkins and snow

Welcome back to my blog.  Mom finally found the battery charger for the camera in my toy chest.  Who put it there?  So now we are back to blogging.

This morning I met my friends Ann and Shari and we went to the Mill City Market downtown.  They had pumpkins.  This one is mine.  We did not stay long because there is snow.  I got to wear my new jacket and boots this morning.  I ate snow too!

After the market mom and I went to the bakery.  I had a yummy pumpkin cookie.

Does snow mean that Christmas and my birthday are soon?

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Our last day of summer before mom goes back to work and I go to Mary's house....

We went to the arboretum with Ann.  This is the maze we went through.  I was the leader.  I got us out safe.
This is the dalia garden.  There were a lot of them.  We tried to figure out which ones were as big as my head.

Definitely not this one!
Maybe...
Not as close as the last one.

Pretty close.  Which one?

This is a little house at the arboretum.  We had a great day.  Thanks Ann.

A Day at the Beach

This is from a couple weeks ago, but here's some video from Race Point Beach on Cape Cod. We had a great time with Tito Ricco and Guy. Can't wait until our next trip to the Cape!

Provincetown, MA

My family just got back from a vacation to Boston.  Our vacation started at the beach in Cape Cod.  We went to Provincetown, MA.  There was a lighthouse at the beach.  I loved playing in the sand.

I ate lots of great food while on vacation.  Ricco and Guy took us to a great seafood place where mom, dad, and Ricco had yummy seafood.  I had spaghetti.

I also went to the National Seashore visitor center.  I have a passport book that I can get stamped at National Parks/ Monuments/ Seashores/ etc.  I got a stamp there with a date so I can remember when I was there.

I also found a great set of binoculars.  I was looking for whales.  The day before we went on a whale watching trip and they were near the beach we were at.

I love the ocean.  "When I grow up and become a daddy I am going to love next door to Ricco in Boston."  I keep reminding my mom and dad that I am going there so they can plan ahead.

This is dad, Ricco, Alden (his friend who owns the house in Provincetown), and Guy.  Alden got married last week.  Congrats Alden and Kate!  Oh and thanks for finding humpty- I buried him in the sand...Kate rescued him and returned him to Ricco.

After we returned from the Cape there was more fun.  I saw my cousins, Georgia and Jillian.  We went to the New England Aquarium...Nathan and mom were there too.  I saw lots of seals, penguins, and fish.  We even got to climb a turtle statue.

Como Town

Last week I went to Como Town twice. It was the first time I had ever been and I loved it. This is the frogger video. I screamed really loud.

The reason I went twice is that my friend Natalie came into town. She went on all the rides with me (except the dragon roller coaster...she was too short). Her mom Casey went with us on the tea cups. (Beware...we will be spinning...I hope you do not get dizzy Lala.)

On the genies with Natalie.

My week

I have already had a very busy week...and it is only half over.  Mom took me to the Minnesota Zoo on Monday.  They have a new playground where I explored animal habitats.  This is the spider's home...a web.

Then we went and saw my favorite animal...the giraffe...they look the same as the giraffe's Uncle Chris and Aunt Lori saw in Africa.

On Tuesday I went to Arty Pants with Leo.  Leo and I made clay jars.  I get to paint it in a few days.

My cousin Troy and Ali are in town with Tita Mandie.  After the Walker we went to IKEA.  Troy and I found comfy chairs.  We matched.  We went to the Twins game with them Tuesday night.

Today...Wednesday...mom and I went to the Como Zoo.  I even rode on the rides this time all by myself.

Chickens at the Library!

Today my friends Leo, Johanna, and I went to the library and learned about chickens. A lady brought a chicken inside the library. Guess where the chicken normally lives...in her house. I wonder if dad would let us have a chicken in the house...I do not think so....

I feed the chicken a tomato and touched its feathers. Babette's, the chicken, favorite food is peanuts and corn.

Wind Cave National Park- Part 4

We went to Wind Cave National Park while we were in South Dakota.  The cave is over 132 miles long and is all located within 1 mile of land.  It was amazing.

This is the box work that was located in the cave.  The cave is made of mostly limestone.  Calcite filled in the cracks of the limestone.  When the water seeped into the cave, the calcite was left leaving boxes of crystals.  I also saw popcorn crystals.  They were my favorite.

The cave was really dark.  I held onto mom and dad for part of the cave tour.

After the cave we went back to the cabin and took a group photo.  This is me, my mom, my dad, Johanna, Jake and Sarah.
