We went to
Wind Cave National Park while we were in South Dakota. The cave is over 132 miles long and is all located within 1 mile of land. It was amazing.

This is the box work that was located in the cave. The cave is made of mostly limestone. Calcite filled in the cracks of the limestone. When the water seeped into the cave, the calcite was left leaving boxes of crystals. I also saw popcorn crystals. They were my favorite.

The cave was really dark. I held onto mom and dad for part of the cave tour.

After the cave we went back to the cabin and took a group photo. This is me, my mom, my dad, Johanna, Jake and Sarah.
