Back from Vacation

Now that we are back, Mom and Dad haven't had any time to post the rest of our vacation photos.

After the Wedding Weekend, we stayed with Tita Yanni and Tito Anthony!

We read books!

And hung out in their garden!

Yum! Fresh broccoli straight from the plant!

It's offficial! Uncle Chris married my Aunt Lori!

Check out my Uncle and Aunt! I love you Uncle Chris and Aunt Lori! Thanks for a great week in Seattle!

The Wedding Day

I had a great day yesterday! It all started with a visit to the salmon locks with Lala, Papa, mom, dad, Tita Yanni, and Tito Anthony. We watched the salmon swim the the ladders. They were huge!

Then we got ready for the big day. We all put on our party clothes and we had our pictures taken with Uncle Chris. This is a picture of my dad, my mom, me, and Uncle Chris.

Me and my tux! I walked down the aisle with my mom and carried a ring pillow that looked like a flower.

After the wedding we went to a big party. I was a little tired so the wait staff found a table and a chair for me and I read books behind Lala's friends.

I missed part of the party so mom brought me wedding cake and a tree cookie. I ate it at 8 this morning after I woke up. Mmmm.....

I'm a Poser

Yesterday we spent the day being tourists. We went to Pike Street Market.

and rode the Monorail!

...and went to a scenic overview of the Puget Sound. Across the street is the Parsons Garden, where the wedding is happening (and the site where Uncle Chris proposed to Aunt Lori). Grandpa and Grandma Deb were there!

The Wedding is tonight!

Ritu, Donovan, and Kali at the Seattle Zoo!

We go to the zoo this morning before it even opened. I could not wait to go in.

The first thing we did was go on the carousel.

We walked all over the zoo looking for hippos. Donovan and I finally found them. They were sleeping. They had a statue of a hippo that we were climbed on.

Donovan and I also took turns looking in the spotting scope. We were looking for lions....ROAR!

We had a great day with my friends. I hope I get to see them again! (Ritu is one of mom and dad's best friends from Iowa State.)

Sleepless in Seattle

This morning we got on a plane and flew to Seattle. When we got to the airport, we found out that we would be sitting in the same row as Aunt Nancy and Uncle Tom! Unfortunately, we didn't get photos.

Uncle Chris picked us up and took us to the hotel. We then followed LaLa and her friends to the the super cool Seattle Public Library. I really loved the children's section...so much that I screamed all the way out of the library because I wanted to stay.

Who would have guessed that they have coffee in Seattle?

Tonight we are seeing Tita Yanni and Tito Anthony! Photos tomorrow!

Edison Football!

Last night mom and I went to the Edison football game. I brought my pompom to cheer with. Jon took me to McDonalds before the game. Mmmm...chocolate milk. I was excited to see Kelsey (my babysitter) at the game too! Some of mom's other students are behind us.

Kelsey and I ran around the track area for a while. I chased her and then she chased me.

Shari and Ann were there too. They watched the game with me and helped sell food. They even let me go into the concession stand. So much good food!

Tips for Making a Pizza

Flour can be rather messy so I recommend a shirtless environment (for boys only) for flattening the pizza dough. Then you can pat the flour onto your belly.

The ketchup sauce must be spread just right. Also it should always be tasted to make sure it is the right consistency.

Of course I have to sample the final product before it is placed in the oven. Mmmm...the cheese...the pepperoni....the sauce...an excellent combination.

Hooray for Elected Officials!

On Tuesday we walked with Kailyn and her dad Josh to Edison so that our parents could vote. Dad and mom really wants this guy to beat this guy.

When we came back we found a huge bulldozer in the lot across the street. The city is finally knocking down the abandoned house. My mom and dad's neighborhood activism actually worked! Hooray for elected officials!

I got a baseball at the game today!

I got a baseball at the Twins vs. Tigers game today! After the game dad and I ran the bases.

This is a photo of me on the field holding my baseball.

I practiced my stretching on the field after I ran the bases.

Dad, me, and T.C. - He autographed my ball for me! (He wrote T.C. #00)

This is part of the long line to run the bases. Dad and I are standing under the "S". Dad has on a light blue shirt. (Video of the base running to come.)

P.S. There is a photo of me on the Twins site in the fan section. Click TWINS to see me on the bottom of the page.

By the way,the Twins lost...dad is not happy with them.

Art Openings

On Friday, Dad and I went Cosetta's to eat pizza and then visited a couple of art openings (dad's friends Scott and John). Although the shows were good, my favorite part was the free food and drinks!
