This morning we went to the Mall of America to get new tennis shoes. We also went on the rides. When I saw the carousel I went to the giraffe right away. For those of you who do not know...giraffes are the best...I love giraffes!!



This is the balloon ride. It goes really fast and high in the air! Wee...



We all joined the YWCA again! It is a great place. They have a pool for me. In this photo you can see the waterslide that I love going down. I really like to swim!

Lamb Roast

Last night we went to one of dad's work parties. It was a lamb roast. Can you see it behind me? It was by some art studios and the artist we were visiting works with really BIG stones.

This is one of the stones that Zoran carved. He told me he uses the small one to make a huge one!

Jade's Art Exhibition

Tonight dad and I went to check out his friend Jade's art work. Jade is mom and dad's old roommate who now lives in Brooklyn.

Jade is still working on the sculpture and it should be finished by this weekend. I can't wait to see it on Saturday! Here's some sneak preview photos.

This is a video from last weekend. Aunt Reva has 2 strawberry patches! When I am at her house I eat all the red strawberries off the plants Yummy! In case you did not know, the green strawberries are a little sour.

Baby Loves Disco and My Rasmussen Family

Mom and dad took me to a day club for 0-5 year olds. Baby Loves Disco day at the club. They had dance music, music shakers, bubbles, lots of bubbles, hula hoops, dancing scarves, and lots of friends to play with. The DJ in the background is dad's friend Mike. He is a fantastic DJ! Maybe he can play at my birthday party...hint...hint mom and dad.

Oh and they had food and drinks. They had apple juice and berry juice and fruit punch! They also had strawberries (my favorite), crackers, cookies, and veggies. They also had face painting, but the line was too long.

After the disco party we went to my Aunt Reva's. Uncle Lee and Aunt Carol meet us there and we had dinner. Dad even went and got ice cream. What a great day!

Brown and Blue

Dad liked my outfit so much that he decided to use the same color scheme today. I really like my shirt - thanks Anne!

PJ's on my head!?!?

Dad put my PJ bottom's on my head. I think we need to read Red Hat, Blue Hat again. It is a story about a turkey who cannot figure out how to put his clothes on right. I will have dad take notes. (I think Tita Kathy and Tito Ed knew this would happen when they sent us the book when I was a little baby.)

My new friend

Guess what Ann (mom's friend) sent home with her today? A big giraffe! It likes to try to lick me so I am still training it how to behave. I can even ride it!

Pancakes and Football

Saturday morning we went over to Grandpa's house. Aunt Sarah played the piano with me...
and grandpa fed me delicious waffles!! I stuffed a whole one in my mouth! Yummy!!

After grandpa's we went to my friend Gillian's house to watch the Iowa State/ Iowa game. Gillian lent me her mickey mouse costume. It had a ribbon skirt, a wand that changed colors, and she had a Tinkerbell doll.

I danced and screamed in it...especially when the boys yelled because something good was happening...dad, Matt, and Jamie said that Iowa State beat Uncle Chris's team.

Chilling Out

Pretty uneventful Friday night. We just ate and I am getting a nebulizer treatment while watching the Elmo DVD that Lola gave me. I love the DVD, thanks Lola!

Grandpa's Here!

Today mom took me to my Aunt Sarah's tennis match and guess who was there? Grandpa! We watched Sarah play tennis and then we went to the park across the street. It was great. There were lots of bridges, swings, and slides. It was a lot of fun!

This is one of the bridges grandpa and I went over. I can't wait until Saturday. He said he would make me waffles.

Play Date

Play Group

Tonight we had baby group (we are toddlers...someone tell our moms!). Although it was a little cold, we played outside. This photo is old, but I needed a photo to post while I wait for mom to load the new photos on the computer. This is what we played on. Play photo to come.

Making Cookies

Tonight mom and I are making chocolate chip cookies. We have baby group tomorrow. I can't wait to share them with my friends.

Lazy Sunday

So I have a bit of a fever today, but I feel great. I feel even better because when I am sick I get to eat popsicles while sitting in my stroller on the back porch (Pedialyte popsicles mom says). Did you know that baseball players are drinking this stuff too! Dad read about it in the New York Times this morning.

Edison Football

Tonight mom and I went to the football game. It was a lot of fun. I had popcorn, M & M's, and played with some of mom's students. They made me laugh. We even sat on the top bleacher! I can't wait until the next game.

Making Pizza

Tonight mom and I are making pizza from scratch! I am helping her put flour into the bowl.

Now that all the hard work is done...I am enjoying some ketchup. Mom keeps pushing the crust farther away making it hard to scoop the "ketchup". Can someone teach her that I should get what I want...especially when it comes to ketchup.

Big Ants and Big Cars

This is the photo I sent mom for her computer at school. She said her student's thought it was "cool" and they were amazed at the size of the ant. I hope they realize I am not that small.

The other day dad let me drive the car. I am so glad. Now I can practice so I will be a better driver than my dad and mom. If I could only find that horn again...I know it's around here somewhere.

What I've Been Up To

On Tuesday Lolo and Lola stayed at my house in the morning while dad and mom went to work. We had a lot of fun. Thanks for coming to visit!

Tuesday night we went to the Twins and Indians game. We left early since mom and I were tired. I ate a while hot dog!

Today I went back to the doctor for a check-up. She said I sound great and look fantastic... I agree with her. Mom took me to the ice cream shop next door afterwards and I had orange sherbert. Yummy!

After the ice cream shop we went home and then mom and I walked to her school to watch the soccer game. The boys on the team run really fast. I cheered for them.

Labor Day Weekend- Part 2

This morning I entertained everyone with my new vocabulary "ketchup". I dedicate this new word to all my fellow ketchup club fans including Tita Yanni, Grandpa Hance, and Lolo. I know there are other sane ketchup fans out there also. I can't wait to dip pancakes in ketchup with you!

After breakfast we read my new book. I am glad Lolo and Lola are here to visit.

Labor Day Weekend- Part 1

This Friday I went to the hospital. I was having trouble breathing so they put stickers on my chest, a red light on my toe, and a balloon thing on my leg (my mom says it is to check my blood pressure). After a couple of hours I was feeling much better and we were all tired so we took a bunch of naps. Since I had to sit still at the hospital we entertained ourselves with Sesame Street and Curious George. (I really like TV)

I had to get breathing treatments at the hospital. It wasn't so bad since I could pretend I was a dinosaur.

Grandma and Lola were scheduled fto visit for the weekend and I am glad they still came. They both brought new toys and books for me to play with.

P.S. Mom and dad say sorry for not contacting everyone. It is partially my fault since I did not let them get a lot of sleep. Now I am OK and the doctor has me on a new breathing plan. We are all home and happy.
