A visit from Maren/ Toddler Time

Rey with Wagon from Witt and Vimeo.

Baby group is really toddler group now. I saw my friends tonight! We played and ate veggies and then Leo got his wagon out. We took turns riding in the wagon. I even got to pull it!

In the morning I meet Maren and her mom Sarah (Bleess). We went to the children's museum and I showed her all the neat things in the Curious George exhibit.

They had minature golf there. Lolo you would be so proud...I hit my first hole in one!

Maren and I also looked at all of George's friends. Some of his pets live in hutches. Why? Because they are rabbits. Maren does a great impression of a rabbit!

Happy Birthday Uncle Chris!

Happy Birthday Uncle Chris! This photo is of me feeding you birthday cupcakes! They are really great...aren't they Uncle Chris. Your present is on the way (note to myself...get him a new sweatshirt for Christmas).

Scott Christy, zoo, presents...can the day get any better?

This morning when mom and I got up we made blueberry pancakes (Yummy) for my friend Caitlin and Scott Christy (dad and mom's friend from Iowa State). I had a lot of fun playing with them this weekend.

After they left mom and I decided to go to the Como Zoo in St. Paul. This is a photo of me looking at a snake fro the Amazon forest. You could get really close to it.

Of course we always start and finish with the giraffes. Oh and we have snack in the middle of the trip with the giraffes too. Today we sat on the south end where they have giraffe statues. Can you see my friend between them?

When we got home from the zoo, there was a birthday package from tita Yanni to mom. Luckily I got to open the package. (P.S. Mom asked me to say thank you tita Yanni.)

Wedding Photo Booth Picture

There was a photo booth at Anne and Aaron's wedding and we got to take some photos. Dad gave the newlyweds some advice - be careful with frame #2 to avoid frame #3.

Happy Wedding for Anne and Aaron May!

Last night we went to Anne Rosso and Aaron May's wedding reception. It was so much fun. Like my new tattoo?? It is a snake. Hiss...

There were a few kids there that I danced with. This is shirt #2 as I got my barong dirty.

They had a traveling photo booth at the wedding. They provided mustaches and tattoos and other things to wear in the photo booth.

How do I look? Shall I keep the mustache?

You can check out the other photo booth pictures by going to the Rosso/May wedding:

Children's Museum with Reva

Yesterday I went to the Children's Museum. It was so much fun! Mom took photos so I could show you some of the things I did.

This is a water table with tubes. You can put a ping pong ball in the tube and it comes out somewhere else. I loved it!!

Then we went to another area where I learned about all the things that are in a community- stores, post offices, restaurants, doctor's offices, and a lot of other things. My favorite was the grocery store. You could put things in a cart and go through the check out.

Then we went through the Curious George (no good photos...sorry). After that we went to the 4th floor where they had a art sculpture garden. This is the sandbox. It was really fancy.

After that we went to a place called "earth world" where they had a stream (with plastic crayfish and frogs), a beaver dam, an ant hill you could climb through, and storm making machines. I was sad when we had to leave, but I was also tired. (I fell asleep while we were out eating.)

After my nap we went back to Reva's house and my cousin Mark and Aaron (cousin David's son who is visiting from California) Rasmussen were there. We played outside and ate Japanese ice cream. Yummy!

Thanks for the great day!

Birthday Breakfast

Dad and I went to "Cupcake" and got mom 6 different cupcakes. My favorite was mudpie. It had a gummy worm in it and looked like dirt.

Untitled from Witt and Vimeo.

Dad got up early this morning. Mom and I woke up to hash browns and ketchup. I hope he makes them for me on my birthday!

Thanks for the xylophone grandma. It came in really handy when I sang Happy Birthday to mom. (By the way...check out the new clothes, mom is moving me up a size- 2T! I am growing a lot this summer.)

Blogging....

Whe I am ready to blog (or read about Elmo or giraffes on the internet) I go into the office, hop up on the chair, and wait for mom or dad. I can't wait to work on the computer by myself, they are really slow.

This is from the other day at dad's work. He had a weird looking robot at his office.

Walker Sculpture Gardens

We tried to go to Arty Pants at the Walker today, but it is not until next week. I still had a ton of fun. My friend Evan (we have the same birthday) came and brought his little sister Acacia. Acacia and I played in the sprinklers at the sculpture garden. We got really wet!

Evan was a little scared of the water, but that did not stop him from chasing me.

After they left we went into dad's office. (Oh...don't forget to check out the counting and the new haircut!)

Birthdays and an anniversary!

Happy anniversary grandma and grandpa Hance!
Happy Birthday Lori! I hope you are having fun in Hawaii.
Happy Belated Birthday Ritu!

Giraffe's are Great

Grandma bought me this shirt at the zoo.
Two great things about this shirt:
1) It has a giraffe on it and
2) It is a little big so I can wear it for a long time.
Thanks grandma.

Des Moines, Iowa

Mom and I just got back from a 5 day trip to Iowa to see my relatives and some friends. Here are a few pictures.

We went to grandma's school and her class was really neat. Her students read me a book and I got to sit in one of their desks. I even took a look to see if there was anything good inside. Grandma even let me go through her classroom library and I brought some books to read at her house while I was on vacation.

We also went and saw baby Elliot (Sara and Adam Albright's baby). I gave him some kisses and then decided I wanted mom back. (I got a little jealous.)

One of the rites of passage for the grandkids at grandma's house is curling up in Jacks bed. I was really good at squeezing in.

On Saturday we went to the Filipino-American picnic. It was so HOT! Lolo and I found a water area that I played in.

We also listened to a live DJ at the party. A lot of people were dancing. I danced a little too!

Lolo also entertained me with a candy catch. He lowered it for some of us and we got to pick candy off of it. I picked a orange sucker, but I wish I would have grabbed chocolate or chips.

We also went to the zoo. (Photos to come soon...) I saw lots of giraffes!! I even feed them. What long tongues!

This is my friendly caterpillar. I like to run him across the hardwood floors and make a lot of noise. It drives mom and dad crazy.

Car Phone

Rey from Witt and Vimeo.

I love to talk and now I can talk on the phone!

Aunt Reva's House

I am sorry I have not blogged in a while. A few notable events that mom forgot to take photos of are: I saw my aunt Nancy, Tom, and Travis from Mankato. We watched Travis play soccer. I can't wait to play! We also went to the Mall of America and looked at all the fun rides.

This is Aunt Reva pouring water over my head. It was so refreshing!

This is Harriet. She tolerated me while I touched her paws. Meow.

At the end of the day we read a new book and I learned how to make dolphins noises...click, click.

Playing at Phin and Eliza's house

Today mom and I went to my friend Phin's house. He has this really great car. The back of the car had a lot of mud in it so we had a car wash. I also sprayed Phin since he got mud on him while driving.
Eliza is in charge of the top of the car since she is 3.

After the car wash we had canadian bacon pizza and lots of fresh fruit. Then we went back outside. This time we all got a little muddy so we all took our clothes off! What fun!

Lego Land or Skateboarding??

Today mom and I went to the Mall of America to escape the heat. They have a bunch of blocks you can play with and there were tons of kids my age there. We also walked around the amusement park.

What I really wish I could do today is ride daddy's skateboard!

So Hot!!

It is really hot here. The humidity is 80% which mom says makes it even hotter. We had the sprinkler out to water me and the plants.
(I even got to go outside naked!)

We did spend part of the day inside since the air quality index is also high. People need to learn to carpool! Mom found a huge ball for me to play with.

Arty Pants

Yesterday we went to Arty Pants at dad's work. They had story time, a video about Picasso, and I got to paint like Picasso. It was the first time Leo or I had painted and we had a lot of fun. We painted the paper a little, but we found painting our moms and the floor even more stimulating. Leo even sat in the paint!!

Spring Rolls

While Lola was here, we went to dad's favorite restaurant. Lola ordered spring rolls for me. Yummy!

More Friends Stop by...

Nate, Jackie, and Nesta (their dog) stopped by for a visit after their vacation up north. Nate played ball with me for a while.

Their dog Nesta tried to take over my cleaning by stealing my duster.

Friday at Aunt Reva's

Friday I went to my aunt's house. She loves to garden. This is us watering her garden.

She has fresh strawberries in her yard!

After we picked the berries, we washed them in the pool. I had to be careful while washing the berries since I had thrown rocks into the pool also.

Lola's here

Sorry I did not blog yesterday. I was very busy with Lola. She arrived on Wednesday and leaves today. We went to the Walker to see dad, we played outside, we read stories and lots of other fun stuff. I am sad she is leaving today, but I will see her again soon!
This is a picture of Lola and I digging at the park. She eventually figured out how to work the digger with my excellent instructions!

I miss you Lolo. See you at the beginning of August!
