As I was emailing this awesome photo of Rey and Ella to Dianne, Lola, and lala.....




Ella took humus....spread it over her arms like lotion....licked it off her arms in a matter of 2 minutes!

If you are unaware...Ella likes to eat humus by the spoonful. She lives it like most kids love applesauce. She also loves lotion and would apply lotion to her skin every moment of the day if she could.

Today we went to the science museum and went to the big backyard.

Last Friday Jo spent the day with us.  We have known Jo so long that she's just another member of the family.  I'm happy that Ella has a big sister. 

Lake Calhoun

Today Ella and brought Lola and Rey on our weekly run around Lake Calhoun. These two have so much fun together.

Fire station tour

Today my very old students, Katie and kristy (24 with kids), took Rey and Ella on a tour of their dad's fire station. Rey said he could not wait to go back! They even got a call while we were there. We had the whole station to ourselves!

Rey and I played our first full 9 holes of golf. Well, okay, Rey played 7 and I played 9. I can't believe that he actually liked playing. Lolo, he's ready to play with you this summer!

Our friends got married yesterday at a beautiful park. Megan worked with Witt at the walker and Michael works for the three rivers park district.



So Rey got to screen print a wedding image withhold favorite second momma Sarah (aka Jojo's mom)....

Went fishing by the lake and caught a 7inch blue gill

A fun and very unique wedding for 2 amazing people. Rey is going to ask about kids activities at weddings from now on. The standard for weddings has changed in Rey's mind!
